Dr Mutter, a Metairie native, graduated from Jesuit HS then obtained a BS in Kinesiology from LSU in Baton Rouge. He then moved home to New Orleans for medical school training at LSU Health Sciences Center. While in medical school, he met his wife Lauren, and they then moved to Memphis, TN where he completed an internship in General Surgery followed by his residency in urology.
